On Saturday, April 5, Bakersfield residents will join thousands of people across the country in a coordinated National Day of Action to defend democracy, constitutional rights, and essential freedoms under attack. The “HANDS OFF!” protest, part of a growing resistance in partnership with 50501 (50 Protests, 50 States, 1 Movement) and allied organizations, will take place at the Liberty Bell, 1415 Truxtun Ave, Bakersfield, CA.
